These FAQs will help you prepare for travel, logistics, and what to expect throughout your week of exploration and relaxation.
The Republic of Ireland uses the euro (€). We suggest arranging any needed currency exchange prior to departure through your bank or travel provider, though credit cards are widely accepted.
Guests traveling independently to Northern Ireland must obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) via the UK ETA mobile app or the official United Kingdom ETA website. The application can take 3+ days to process, and once approved, the ETA is linked directly to the passport used. No additional paperwork is required. Please note that Northern Ireland uses the pound sterling (£), not the euro.

Spring weather in Ireland is cool and variable, with average temperatures ranging from 41–54°F. Expect a mix of sunshine, clouds, wind and showers throughout the day. We recommend packing layers along with a weather-resistant jacket and comfortable, water-resistant footwear.
For all meals, meetings and planned experiences provided by Ideal Producers Group, gratuity is covered. Tipping for exceptional service or for independently booked activities is optional. While tipping is not customary in Ireland, 10–15% is appropriate if you choose to do so.
