How It Works
Each year, F&G sets a qualification level. Producers can combine both annuity and life sales to earn program credits. To keep the contributions flowing, producers must continue to earn a minimum of one credit each year.*
If you earned two credits per year the last 10 years, you’d have $399,000** accumulated.

A participant’s account value vests over six qualifying years at the rate of 20% beginning with the second year of qualification. If a participant has qualified for the program for six years, they may be fully vested.

The vesting schedule begins in the first year that one qualifies as a Power Producer. As long as you continue to qualify every year, you will be fully vested in six years.

*Vesting pauses in a year the producer does not qualify. Failure to qualify in two consecutive years will result in a forfeiture of all non-vested account value. An agent who subsequently qualified again will begin with his/her vested account values and will continue on the same vesting schedule but will not have any previous years’ premium to his/her credit.
** Reduced credit amount by 50% for above street.

The Power Producer arrangement is unfunded. Your account value is a “bookkeeping” account that is subject to risk of forfeiture in the event of insolvency or bankruptcy of the Company, or such other claims as may be made by the general creditors of the Company. The Power Producer Program is a deferred bonus compensation plan for eligible appointed agents of Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company. Eligible appointed agents include individuals who represent the Company as writing agents working directly with the customer and not with respect to business written as an upline agent. Additionally, agents appointed under a bank or broker-dealer are not eligible. Terms are as stated in the Power Producer plan document, which F&G Life may amend, limit or terminate at any time. F&G reserves the right to exclude products at its discretion.
